Darlington SC Referee Refresher Training Sessions 2010

All dates: 12 pm to 2 pm
These 3 education sessions this winter will be in the meeting room at the Bowmanville Indoor Soccer Facility. The sessions will include covering the LOTG and will focus on Laws 8 through 17. The sessions will also include question and answer periods. This will be your oppourtunity to discuss challenges and receive information and solutions from other referees. These would include player and game management, spectator control, positioning, AR etc.
The above sessions are designed to assist you to increase your knowledge, skills and enjoyment.
CSA ENTRY LEVEL REFEREE COURSE
(This course is full)
Our club will be hosting this referee course: April 17 & 18 2010 at the Bowmanville Indoor Soccer Facility, 9 am to 4 pm each day.
An individual must be 14 years of age as of March 31st, 2010 to enroll. This course replaces the C4 and C3 course. This course is 2 days in length, and workbooks and test will be required.
Cost: $75.00
OSA Mini Soccer Referee Course
Our club will be hosting this referee course: Saturday May 1, 2010
This course is for 12 & 13 year olds. An individual must be 12 by March 31, 2010 to enroll. To ref mini field games you will need this level. This course is 6 hours in length.
Time: 10 am to 4 pm.
Cost: $35.00
All youth interested in refereeing, please attend a 2010 Outdoor Player Registration in the community you live in and fill out a referee application. If you have been selected, you will be contacted by the referee coordinator
Note: If there are any spots left once our club's referees are booked in; we will accept applications from those referees outside our club
Our club is actively recruiting adult (18 years and older) referees. If you are interested please call the Darlington Soccer office for more information. An application is available below.

Sessions are free of charge.
Location: Durham Region Soccer Association office, 1077 Boundary Rd, Unit 105, Oshawa, L1J 8P8

The sessions are for experienced referees and they cover everything from assigning to guest speakers who cover the LOTG in general and others who cover specific Laws, usually the most difficult ones for Referees. It is also an excellent opportunity for young referees 15 and up to meet and and speak with seasoned referees.
Don't forget to bring something to take notes with.
