What is the Darlington Champions League ?
The Darlington Champions League is a Development/Rep. only league which is an alternative to our Indoor Recreational program. The league which runs from U9 to U14 . It also operates as a Coed program (both boys and girls play together).
Only players from the previous Development and Rep. season are eligible to play in the Champions League (i.e. you must have played Outdoor 2017 to play 2017/2018 Champions League).
The programs aim is to provide our LTPD and competitive players an opportunity to play against players of similar skill levels to encourage their development in the Champion's League, while allowing our house league players the opportunity to play against a greater ratio of recreational based players themselves in the Indoor House League.
Although our Club recognizes other Development/LTPD & Rep. players choose to play with our Club in the off-season. Darlington players will have the first claim to available spots.
When does registration take place for the 2017/2018 Champions League season?
The registration will be starting on Monday, July 31st, 2017 at 12:00pm and will be closing on Monday, August 21st, 2017 (our registration ends early as our Club needs to gauge interest and cement numbers for the program prior to the Indoor House League registration). The registration link is located at the top of this page and will become active at the time listed above.
Our Club also facilitates in-person registrations at our Club Office for those who wish to pay by by cash or debit or are unable/uncomfortable with registering online.
Please note there are limited spots for this program and registrations are on a first come first served basis.
Will we be required to complete the Respect In Sport Parent Program again?
Our Club only requires parents to complete the certification once but you'll be required to enter your RIS Certification # at the time of registration. RIS Certification #'s can be ported over and used from the OMHA database.
How long is the season?
The season runs the same length as the Recreational Indoor League. The 2017/2018 season will be running for 19 weeks total. From October 16th, 2017 to March 6th, 2018. Note there will be a break during the last two weeks of December for the holiday season.
Who will be coaching the teams?
The Club will be recruiting Coaches of Development/Rep. caliber to manage the teams. Coaches will have experience coaching Development/Rep. teams and will have the appropriate certifications.
How will players be allocated?
Players will be allocated based on age, gender, and skill and every effort will be made to ensure parity is established. Team placement is at the discretion of the Technical Director and LTPD Manager.
What days of the week would we be scheduled to play for 2017/2018 Indoor?
Please see the table below for tentative game days for 2017/2018. A full schedule will be available before the start of the season with times rotating between the times listed below. Note games are 1 hour in length and there are no practices during the Indoor season.
It's important to note that the below is the Club's ideal split and is tentative. Every effort will be made to make the proposed schedule work but depends on the demand and registrant numbers for the program. Times and/or game days may be re-arranged.

What is the registration fee?
All ages in the Champions League play on a full field. The fee is $275.00 which includes the online registration fees, credit card charges and full uniform.
How long are games?
Games consist of two 25-minute halves with a five minute half-time and five minute transition time between games.
What footwear is suitable for the indoor turf?
Outdoor cleats, turf shoes, indoor shoes and running shoes are permitted and appropriate for the indoor turf. Note shin guards are mandatory.
What is Darlington's refund policy?
Prior to October 1st, 2017 we will issue a full refund minus $25.00 administration fee.
After October 1st, 2017 there will be no refund provided unless there is a Doctor's note provided. Again, the $25.00 administration fee applies.
Our Club does not operate on a credit-based system, therefore fees paid for this program cannot be transferred to another program in lieu of a refund.

Darlington Soccer Club accepts Debit, Visa, MasterCard, money order, cheque and cash for payment. Online payment can be facilitated through MasterCard, Visa or PayPal only.
